Soft Woods for Fires
Fir and Hemlock are softer woods and perfect for starting a fire. They burn quick but are smokier.
Hard Woods for Fires
Maple and Alder are hard woods for maintaing a already lit fire. They provide more heat than softer wood and burn longer with less smoke.
